New beginnings

New year, new job, new state of contentedness and happiness...

2005 might be a good year.

As my horoscope for today informed me, "What you have been offered in the past is not necessarily what you will be offered in the future. Remain optimistic."

Maybe it's right. I mean, now I'm in a place with The Boy that I've never been before, and neither has he. We can say the "M-word" without panicking (either of us!), and we're talking about things like house-buying and children-having (waaay down the road with that one). I'm back in school, doing and studying things I've wanted to do for years now. I've got a new job, doing something interesting and engaging, and working with a swell group of people, and making tons more money than I ever did at The Place That Shall Remain Nameless...

Life is good right now.

I think I can live with that.
