Ephemera
Ancient Indian ruins were observed when the waters of the tsunami in December pulled back just before slamming against the coast, only to be swallowed again by the sea. Naturally, there is speculation over what the barnicle-covered blocks and shapes really are, but underwater archaeologists were already doing at-sea excavation before the tsunami hit.I took a fragment of the newly restyled SAT out of curiosity. For two reasons, really: I wanted to see how I'd fare, seeing as how I've been out of high school for (*eep*) 8 years, and because I took the ACT in high school, not the SAT. Anyway, I did really well on the test fragment, and found a place online where you can practice the full version of the exam.
No idea why my boyfriend thinks me crazy...

Almost a liter
I am *not* feeling well this afternoon. I wasn't feeling very well this morning, either. The alarm may or may not have gone off when it was supposed to, but I do remember Nate's side of the bed being cold instead of containing him. He came back, after showering, at some point, and I remember steadfastly refusing to budge from the comfy soft warmth of the bed.And I've been tired/achy/cranky ever since.
Topping it all off, I could find my security badge this morning, which means that I have to knock whenever I need to get back into the office. And I have no access to the restricted computer rooms unless someone is gracious enough to give me their card. I went to lunch with my friend Dusty, only to discover that he had also forgotten his badge, and the two of us pounded on the door for a good few minutes before someone heard us knocking.
Sigh.
