Tech girl

I've been in a CCNA exam prep class all week long, and I'm still trying to get over bronchitis.

The class is good/fun/informative, but the bronchitis kind of sucks...

Kid A is still active, and she's displaying a disturbing indication that she's a morning person (which both Nate and I most decidedly are not). I suppose it's all good though, eh?

So, uh, yeah...

In the time that's passed since I last updated this thing, we've had several OB visits, heard Kid A's heartbeat multiple times, seen her (confirmed - a little girl, who shall be arriving on or around May 6th of this year) in full black-and-white ultrasound awesomeness, started looking for a house of our own, celebrated our first wedding anniversary, fell in love with the perfect little 1920's bungalow, and gotten approved for a mortgage.

It's been a busy last few months, to say the least.

I wish I could promise that I'd update more often, but I'd rather demonstrate that through actions and not so much through words, since I can't apparently be trusted to follow through with spoken/written promises.

I'm also certain that I'm leaving some big events out (ooh - nephew turned 1 in October - I think I went on hiatus before that happened...), but I'm sure that the next few months will be full of even more big things to write about.

Sorry for the lack of belly pictures, too, but trust me - no one wants to see that. I'll just say that due to the hyperemesis, I'm still down 5 pounds from where I was before I found out I was pregnant. I've got a baby bump now, so the weight I'm regaining is mostly just being redistributed along my body, and not so much going back to where it was initially. That's not such a bad thing.

Anyway... long time, no talk, you've heard it all before.
